Supervision is the process of guiding, helping, training, and encouraging staff to improve their performance in order to provide high-quality health services.

1. Integrated Supportive Supervision

Periodic assessment of all the activities for which a particular facility is responsible

Not all the activities can be supervised at one time, every activity should have been supervised at one time, every activity should have been supervised at least once in the course of one year

Carried out by multidisciplinary teams which have expertise in clinical practise, public health, administration and finance
